PAUL KELLER
When I began my real estate career 12 years ago having completed my career as a teacher,
I felt that training was the key to becoming a professional.
Therefore I took my licensing courses at Montgomery College. After receiving my license,
I immediately took and passed the four courses given by The Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI).
Each of these four courses is one week for eight hours each day with an exam. I then achieved the
CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation based on training and sales. I am presently a
member of the Certified Residential Specialist Council at both the state and national levels.
I am also a member of the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC) with the designation of
Accredited Buyer's Agent (ABR). Qualification for the ABR designation requires a two-day course
with exam and proof of settlements as a buyer's agent. I hold the Referral & Relocation Certification (RRC)
which is the only relocation certification offered by the National Association of Realtors.
As a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) I am recognized as a professional Realtor
and am bound by its code of ethics. At the state and local levels, I am a member of the
Maryland Association of Realtors (MAR) and both the Frederick County Association of Realtors
(FCAR) and the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR) which includes Montgomery County.
I have lived in Maryland since 1963, and my wife, Elizabeth, is a native of the area. We are both
retired teachers with combined experience of 55 years in grade three through high school.
